Meg Withstandley C. specializes in Sailors Valentines, painting, carving and miniatures and also combines these talents to create "Wharf Scenes", a form of 2 1/2 dimensional art. Each Wharf Scene is hand painted and sculpted right down to the light fixtures. A ghost resides in one building in each piece. The buildings represent actual Nantucket properties with the exception of the central building which can have the quarterboards customized to your specifications with your name, business etc.
